Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master TV team, For five years now, the Animal Pride Day has been held in sunny Constance on the famous Lake Constance in Germany, right on the border with Switzerland. It has set itself the task of inviting people to adopt a vegan lifestyle with joy and peaceful energy. In addition to a vegan festival with 15 participating vegan organizations, there is also a demonstration that leads from Kreuzlingen in Switzerland to Augustinerplatz in Constance. Inspired by the Christopher Street Day parades, love and harmony are key. “Radical harmony” is the trademark of the energetic animal rights activist Viktor Gebhart, who moderated the demonstration and encouraged people to join in.
The approximately 120 participants, as well as the city’s residents showed great approval, especially through the performances of the vegan artists present. Highlights included singer-songwriter Nette, the singer Vegan Queen V from England, who was on Supreme Master TV in 2021, rapper IFEEL from Croatia, soul and jazz singer Listentojules, and R&B (Rhythm and blues) artist Hans-Jörg Bornschein - all of whom are vegan animal activists. The Kreuzlingen music school and dance troupe Partypotatoes provided a fun breakdance interlude. The guests couldn’t stop clapping.
The decisive difference between Animal Pride Day and other demonstrations was the positive approach of the presenter Viktor Gebhart. To get people excited about the vegan way of life, it is effective to invite them to a vegan festival in a friendly manner. This friendly atmosphere made both the participants and the audience feel very comfortable. The minute’s silence on Münsterplatz was particularly impressive, as it highlighted what our poor animals have to suffer at the hands of humans and brought empathy for them to the fore.
