I’d like to offer a cooking tip on how to make broiled or grilled grapefruit with ginger. Start by preheating an oven to the broil setting. Then, cut two grapefruits, pink or red, in half and set them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Slice a small piece off the bottom of each half so they stand upright. Loosen each portion of the grapefruit by making little cuts between the fruit, peel, and membrane on both sides, using a small pairing knife. Next, combine 2 tablespoons (30 grams) of sugar and one-fourth cup (32 grams) of ginger together in a small bowl and mix. Then, sprinkle the mixture over the grapefruit halves and set them in the oven and broil or grill for five minutes. Top them off with some pomegranate seeds and mint. Bon appétit!
