I would like to share a healthy drink recipe with you. Do you want to indulge in something sweet and nutritious? Here’s a spin on hot chocolate made from plant milk: grated fresh turmeric and ginger. This drink has anti-inflammatory benefits, and it can be served warm or cool.

In a saucepan, combine 2 cups (500 milliliters) of water, a quarter teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of grated turmeric, and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Turn off the heat and allow the water to infuse for approximately 5 minutes. Then strain it using a fine-mesh strainer. Next, place the mixture back in the saucepan and pour in 1 cup (250 milliliters) of plant milk, and add 1 tablespoon of cacao or cocoa powder, and 10 drops of stevia or 4 tablespoons of erythritol. Allow it to simmer until it’s warm.

This recipe makes 3 cups (750 milliliters) total – perfect for you and your friends to enjoy!
