World Health Organization (WHO) climate report urges “largely plant-based diets.”

In a new publication, the WHO warns that climate change is “the single biggest health threat facing humanity.” The organization’s Director-General His Excellency Dr.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, “The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a light on the intimate and delicate links between humans, animals and our environment. The same unsustainable choices that are killing our planet are killing people.”
To urgently remedy the crisis, the assessment presents ten priority recommendations, including the adoption of “healthy, largely plant-based diets” to reduce methane emissions over the coming decades.
The study also highlights that the nearly US$600 billion annual governmental subsidies given to the agricultural sector globally are distorting the true cost of harmful foods like meat, and urges that these incentives be diverted to promoting a healthier, sustainable food system.
Many thanks for the illuminating report, World Health Organization. To survive, may humanity embrace the cure-all vegan lifestyle now, in Divine wisdom.
