“At the distance of a shout, at the distance of a day’s walk, your man is already here, your Older Brother, the One with the green jades, the beard and the pilgrim’s staff. Receive Him!”
In the history of Mesoamerica, a sage King lived around the 10th century AD. His profound wisdom, compassion, spiritual status, and power often draw parallels to those of Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian). To the Toltecs, who lived in present-day Mexico, He was known as Ce Acatl Topiltzin Quetzalcóatl (vegetarian).
Described as being tall, light-skinned, and blond-bearded, Lord Quetzalcóatl taught His people agriculture, astronomy, the arts, commerce, and other skills. He emphasized peace, compassion for all beings, and the worship of God. Traces of His teachings can be found in legends contained in texts throughout the Mesoamerican region.
Many believe that He was a physical manifestation of the highest God. Scholars find interesting similarities between His life and the life of Lord Jesus Christ, such as Lord Quetzalcóatl was born of a virgin, He raised the dead, He shed His own blood to save humankind, and He promised His return.
Further evidence found in “The Gospel of the Toltecs” compiled by Frank Díaz shows that Lord Quetzalcóatl taught the Quan Yin Method of Meditation, which involves contemplating one’s Inner Heavenly Light and Inner Heavenly Sound, as well as the precepts of righteous living. These are the same spiritual method and teaching of Lord Jesus Christ, Supreme Master Ching Hai, and other Enlightened Masters.
“Ce Akatl (Quetzalcóatl) once sang: ‘Where the snails make ETERNAL MUSIC, where the horns resound and the atabal (drum) vibrates, where the MUSICIANS OF THE SUN dance in Their joy, there I want to go, with you, mother and father of mine!’”
“[A Master] OPENS OUR EARS, He enlightens us. He is a Guide of guides and offers a path. One depends on Him.”
“During the day, study Divine books, CONVERSE WITH YOUR HEART and practice the arts and crafts. At night STAY AWAKE, sing praises until dawn and never miss the NIGHT BATH.”
“Converse with your heart” is the way the Quan Yin initiates do: Reciting silently in the heart the Names of the Lord, even while practicing their mundane occupation (arts and crafts). And during the night they meditate, praising the Lord and BATHING in Hiers Blessing, Melody - Light.
“Concentrate solely on Ometeotl (GOD). The NAME and Glory of THE ONE who can do everything is the only thing that produces joy.”
“Do not accept what you do not deserve, or claim what is not yours, or abuse what you have not created.”
The five precepts required for the disciples of Supreme Master Ching Hai:
1. Refrain from harming or taking the life of sentient beings. 2. Refrain from speaking what is not true. 3. Refrain from taking what is not yours. 4. Refrain from sexual misconduct. 5. Refrain from using intoxicants.
“Love one another, help each other when in need with the blanket and the roof, the jewel, a salary and food.”
Before leaving His followers in that lifetime, Master Quetzalcóatl said these words of comfort, promising His return.
“I just came to prepare a way for myself; now I must go. But do not fear, I am not leaving forever: you will hear my voice eternally. Do not cry for the gone prince, because I have left you my words and my jewels.”
“Rejoice! A new day is coming, the magnificent day, of radiant beauty, when I will have to return to my face (myself). Then you will see me! On that day you will understand the Divine reasons, I will raise my harvest and reap what I have sown. THEN THE EVIL BEAST WILL DISAPPEAR FOREVER AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WALK IN PEACE.”
How do we recognize Master Quetzalcóatl when He returns? The compassionate Master foresaw the difficulties we might have and provided signs.
“At the distance of a shout, at the distance of a day’s walk, your man is already here, your Older Brother, the One with the green jades, the beard and the pilgrim’s staff. Receive Him!”
Based on this text, the current incarnation of Lord Quetzalcóatl will have with Him or Her these three items: “Green jades, the beard, and the pilgrim’s staff.”
In several of Her jewelry designs, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) used green jade stones and sometimes wears them. Master has also used staffs for walking, and sometimes umbrellas for the same purpose.
Master revealed that in many of Her past lives, She was a male with a beard, and that’s why in this life, out of habit She sometimes moves Her hands as if stroking an invisible beard.
“Well, I still have this kind of habit sometimes. I keep doing things like I have a beard. But I don’t. I don’t know why I do that.”
“You know, most Masters, They have a beard, so when They talk, They are doing this. I have something similar, right? All I have to do is tuck it all to here and then… Just use some tape, put it there.
Excellent. No wonder I grew my hair long, now I know why. It can be a substitute.”
In Costa Rica, Master once took the long, flowing moss that hung from a tree, and put it on Her chin as a beard, to the laughter of the disciples present.
“When we were with Master, in the Ashram of Costa Rica, during the day we walked with Her on the trails. On one occasion we were going with the monks, the nuns and a group of Her disciples. And Master stopped under a tree that hung some long moss.
She took two little mosses from the tree and put them on simulating little beards, here. And She said, as if She were an old man, very pretty, She said: ‘I am your grandfather!’ And we all laughed, because we were very amused that She put Herself in the place of an old man.”
“Power of goodness comes to you to enliven you, to eradicate all fear from the world. Power of unity, power of the Heart of Heaven, of the One Who, upon receiving us, receives in fact His own being.”
Supreme Master Ching Hai has traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica and nearby regions many times to teach people how to live a good life, without fear, be united and connect with Heaven. Whererever She goes, Master often expresses the sentiment of feeling at home with the people, and in return, the locals receive Her as if She were one of their own.
“My dear friends, I felt like I came home, because of the love you have showered upon me in these days since I arrived in Costa Rica, by so-called strangers on the street, by the children in the schools, by the passengers on the bus, by the clients in the restaurants. I felt I know everyone in Costa Rica because they all know me. I felt that God has loved us so much these days. I felt God has united us in a very invisible and loving way. I’m filled with such a very rare sentiment that I am surprised also at myself.”
“I felt extremely happy when I arrived here. Just alighting from the plane, I already felt happy. Probably due to affinity from past lives, I like this country a lot.”
In 2010, Master visited Mexico city and the Cancún area, appearing blonde, light in complexion, much like Lord Quetzalcóatl. She was again able to establish an immediate trusting bond with the locals. ETC…
“In Costa Rica, when I first went there, first time ever, and then when I had to leave, they’d say, ‘Master going, when You leave, it’s like somebody cuts a piece of my flesh away.’ From her flesh, away.”
“(I want to see You all day and night.) I will be too busy. (No, You have many bodies. Please give me one to see You every time.) What for to see 24 hours? Only when necessary, right? (It’s necessary all the time.) […]
I will take your love with me. And I will keep the memory of the best time I have here. I will always remember the Mexican people. Yes, I really wanted to live here. (I would like a lot You to be here.) I don’t know why. I came and I’d like to stay.”
“Lord, You have looked in my eyes, Smiling You said my name, In the sand, I left my boat, Next to You, I’ll seek another sea.”
While departing from the seashore thousands of years ago, Lord Quetzalcóatl said a prayer and made a wish for all His followers, as well as for all humankind and Earth in the future.
“May the inventor of man, the knower of man, look at you all with love! May you be happy and comply with everything that I gave you to eat from my lip and my mouth (teachings)! MAY THE EARTH REMAIN, may the mountains stand! […] MAY THE EARTH REMAIN!”
Today, Lord Quetzalcóatl has returned in the form of Supreme Master Ching Hai to fulfill the same wish, the same dream – the survival of the Earth. May more people join Her in this sacred mission.
“So I just hope within hope, and dream within a dream, that truly soon we will have what we want – a World Vegan, where compassionate humans will rule as kings of all the kingdoms; and peace, when all the leaders will be proud of themselves for their protective spirit to keep all citizens of all countries safe and sound. The children go peacefully to school and come back in one piece, the whole being again, to greet their parents. And so on, we can continue from one generation to the next, bringing happiness, peace, Glory from Heaven unto Earth.”
