Regarding the 111th pope, St. Malachy used the Latin phrase, Gloria Olivae, which means “Glory of the Olive.”

In both the Buddhist and Christian traditions, we can find prophecies regarding the decline of established religious orders in our current period, due to the infiltration of the negative force. Cunningly hiding among spiritual practitioners, people fail to easily recognize the imposters.

“Seven hundred years after my entering Parinirvana, this Marapapiyas (Demon king) will spoil my Wonderful Dharma. It is like a hunter donning priestly garb. Marapapiyas will also act thus. He will present himself in the form of a bhiksu (monk), bhiksuni (nun), upasaka (male Buddhist practitioner) or upasika (female practitioner).”

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

Particularly in Christianity, many seers have long sounded alarms about the antichrist who will climb to the top seat in our modern time.

“At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.”

“My children, there are forces now loosed upon your earth. The abyss is wide open now. 666 (Devil, AntiChrist) has entered in full force upon your Earth. His agents now are in the Vatican. They have captured some of the highest seats in the Hierarchy. They have taken over many governments. They are bringing the nations to the edge of destruction.”

“Like the first Judas, the last pope will sell my Son to the enemy. The era of the antichrist pope will soon come. The loss of so many souls causes me great distress. There will be no forgiveness if sins continue to increase.”

More than 800 years ago, Saint Malachy of Ireland had a vision of a succession of 112 popes, beginning from Pope Celestine II. His prophecy had been stored in the Vatican Archives until 1595 when a Benedictine monk named Arnold Wyon published it in his book on the history of the order of St. Benedict, “Lignum Vitae (Wood of Life).” Some historians cite the accuracy of these short, cryptic Latin predictions to be as high as 95 percent.

St. Malachy describes Pope Pius VI as, quote, ‘Apostolic Wanderer.’ During Pius VI’s reign, he traveled to Germany to confer with Emperor Joseph II. In the last two years of his reign, he was forced by revolutionaries to flee Rome. After a very difficult journey over the Alps, he died in France. He was definitely a wanderer.

St. Malachy describes Pope Leo XIII as quote, ‘Light in the Sky.’ Pope Leo XIII’s coat of arms features a comet in the sky. Bishops of the Catholic Church create a coat of arms. Pope Leo XIII was made a Bishop on February 19, 1843. That means that Leo XIII created his coat of arms, which featured a comet in the sky, 35 years before he became pope in 1878. He was thus identified with a Light in the Sky long before he became pope or knew that he would become pope.”

Regarding the 111th pope, St. Malachy used the Latin phrase, Gloria Olivae, which means “Glory of the Olive.” Scholars believe this refers to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI because his papal name was chosen after Saint Benedict, the founder of the Benedictine Order, which includes a branch called Olivetans. Moreover, as the olive branch represents peace, this description also fits the Pope who had devoted his life to making peace and reconciliation.

His peaceful nature is seen through his love for animal- people, especially cat-persons. He was often seen spending time with stray cat-people in Rome, even talking to them and bringing them food. The children’s book “Joseph and Chico: The Life of Pope Benedict XVI as Told by a Cat” is based on the true story between him and his adopted cat-person companion Chico.

During his papacy, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI condemned the child abuse by church officials that was happening behind closed doors.

“Stunning revelations tonight from the Vatican. For the first time, the Holy See has revealed how many priests have been defrocked recently because of child sexual abuse. In just two years, 2011 and 2012, almost 400 priests were turfed from the church. That’s when Pope Benedict was still in charge. He was quietly kicking out one priest every two days during his final years.”

He worked to seek forgiveness and made efforts toward reconciliation between victims and the Catholic Church.

“He was the first pope to publicly meet victims of abuse and he apologized.”

“During a visit to Malta, Pope Benedict met with eight victims of clerical sex abuse.

The Vatican says the pope expressed his shame and sorrow at the pain the victims and their families suffered.

Everyone was crying. They felt very sorry for us.

(Did the pope cry?) Yes, he had tears in his eyes.

He listened to us. He told me, “I’m very proud and I pray for you to have the courage to tell your story.”

No words of mine could describe the pain and harm inflicted by such abuse.”

“Pope Benedict XVI: Nor can I adequately describe the damage that has occurred within the community of the Church. Great efforts have already been made to deal honestly and fairly with this tragic situation. And to ensure the children, whom our Lord loves so deeply, and who are our greatest treasure, can grow up in a safe environment.”

“That idea of clarity, really, is the hallmark of his papacy. And it touched everything from worship to defense of the unborn, to the sex abuse crisis. ”

ETC…

However, on February 11, 2013, the unthinkable happened. After just eight years as pope, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation.

“After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths due to an advanced age, are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry.

The decision I have made, after much prayer, is the fruit of a serene trust in God’s Will and a deep love of Christ’s Church. I will continue to accompany the Church with my prayers, and I ask each of you to pray for me and for the new pope.”

“To thousands of people at St. Peter Square, Benedict XVI said farewell.”

Having dedicated the rest of his life to seclusion and peaceful prayer in a monastery, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI has lived true to his name noted by Saint Malachy – Gloria Olivae (Glory of the olive).

When he passed away in December 31, 2022, our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) wrote a special tribute message.

His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, admired globally for his devoutness, passed away on December 31, 2022, at the ripe age of 95.

Our Master, Supreme Master Ching Hai, said of Pope Benedict XVI: “A Pure Star has returned to Heaven! Blessed be his soul.”

Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master Television team, as well as our Association members, would like to sincerely convey our sorrowful condolences to the Catholic faithful worldwide on His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict’s passing. May his soul forever peacefully rest in God's tender Embrace.

The end of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI’s papacy seemed to signal the beginning of something ominous.

“Within hours of Pope Benedict announcing that he was to resign, take a look at this: lightning struck St. Peter’s Basilica. You can see it again now in slow motion.”

Lightning struck St. Peter’s Basilica twice immediately following the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. Now, some people might not make anything of that, but lightning is something in sacred literature that almost always carries spiritual connotations. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s evil, like when Jesus referred to satan as, ‘falling like lightning.’”

At the end of his prophecy, Saint Malachy wrote a final message: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

As it happens, p. Francis was born to a Italian descendent family and named his papal name after Saint Francis of Assisi, Whose birth name was “Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone.” Pietro means Peter.

On March 13, 2013, when p. Francis, appeared on the Vatican balcony to greet the Catholic faithful in St. Peter’s Square for the first time, he said the following:

“You know that it was the duty of the Conclave to give Rome a Bishop. It seems that my brother Cardinals have gone to the ends of the earth to get one, but here we are.”

He presented himself as the Bishop of Rome. The first thing he said on the balcony of St. Peter’s Square was ‘I am the Bishop of Rome,’ which, by the way, is true. But it was surprising that this was the first thing he said. Some have pointed out that this was a way of actually connecting the prophecy of Malachy and conveying the Roman aspect of the pope.”

“‘May God forgive you for what you’ve done,’ were the worlds newly elected pope Francis told fellow cardinals over dinner, soon after his election and first appearance as pope.”

It appears that Saint Malachy’s prophecy about the pope has been fulfilled. With the last Peter the Roman in the seat of the Vatican, the time of tribulation and judgment began. We’ll explore its ramifications in the next episode. We encourage the citizens of the world, especially our brothers and sisters in the Catholic Church, to stay alert now more than ever to avoid unwittingly being led on an unwanted path in this trying period.
