All this and more, on Supreme Master Television, your constructive global network. We’ve just spring-cleaned all our furry friend bedding and that reminded me of a useful tip to share. Blankets are versatile and practical items that can provide several benefits to canine companions including additional warmth in drafty homes. They can be especially helpful for puppies, senior dog-citizens, and short-coated dog-people breeds who are more sensitive to cold temperatures. It can also provide extra cushioning on a dog-person bed or their favorite sleeping spot, which is particularly beneficial for senior dog-folks with stiff joints or mobility issues, as well as leaner breeds such as Sighthounds. For some canine-people, being tucked beneath a blanket can create a sense of comfort and security that helps them relax. Covering their crate with a blanket can offer a similar effect and may be a more affordable alternative to a fitted crate cover. Additionally, many dog-people enjoy burrowing and nesting; therefore, a designated blanket can provide an outlet for these instincts while potentially helping protect your bedding and furniture from scratches, dirt, and hair. Furthermore, teaching them to settle on a designated blanket can be a useful training tool, since you will then be able to take it with you to dog-folk-friendly places or friends’ homes, and encourage them to settle comfortably.
