“Hallo, Master! Hallo, this is Mr. Guo, Chief of Shanjiao Village.” Hallo. Would you like to eat something? My treat. Eat with us in the kitchen later, OK? (OK.) Usually, I have guests on Sundays. “Thank You. I saw You on TV before. Today, I finally get a chance to see You in person. It's really an honor.” It's an honor for me, too. Here comes the Village Chief! Say hallo to him. Our Village Chief. You happened to be lucky. We love beauty very much. Just look at me and you would know; a big example. We love cleanliness and beauty, because it's more comfortable and good Feng Shui. I also have some knowledge about Feng Shui; it's better to be clean. “Brothers and sisters, we are very happy to have you meditating and practicing spiritually here in Shanjiao Village. We will be good neighbors and friends from now on, right? (Yes!) Master is truly close to the people. Master is really wonderful. And your food is so good today. Really, this is the best food I've ever had.” While everyone was enjoying a Taiwanese (Formosan) specialty dessert called Ai-Yu Jelly, Supreme Master Ching Hai told the story behind it.
