US President Donald Trump recently endorsed at a Washington, D.C. conference a new law that the state of Louisiana has adopted, requiring classrooms to display the Ten Commandments of the Bible. The legislation states that the Commandments should be shown in all primary, secondary, and postsecondary school classrooms, and must be printed in a large and easy-to-read font.President Trump applauded the new legislation, then added that Christians “cannot afford to sit on the sidelines” in the 2024 presidential election and encouraged them to go and vote.
