Our Guest today is award-winning director Alex Lockwood, who has directed films such as “73 Cows, ” “Test Subjects,” and his latest documentary “The End of Medicine.” “So, ‘The End of Medicine’ is a documentary directed by me, produced by Keegan Kuhn, who co-made ‘Cowspiracy’, ‘What the Health’, and executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara. It's basically about how our treatment of animals and our consumption of animals has an intrinsic link with these emerging health threats, like pandemics, antimicrobial resistance, chronic disease. And we started making the film before Covid-19 actually emerged, and then that obviously changed the scope of the film massively because you're making a film about pandemics, and then one actually happens.”Using footage from highly regarded professionals in the medical field, “The End of Medicine” is a film worth watching, with facts we should all be concerned about. “And the solution we see is that everybody really needs to change what they eat and shift to a plant-based lifestyle and a vegan lifestyle because no matter how you farm animals, you create risks.” Many spiritual leaders and religious teachings have been echoing this message, including our most benevolent Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan).“Inner peace begins when we give peace to others.
